Drain The SWAMP

Drain The SWAMP

--------------

YES. He is Not a King. You are the same..... "Trump Over Federal Assistance Freeze" is "LEGAL". That is the way Donald Trump handles and manages the country. Paying the Federal Assistance is his duty. You work as a congress people. You do NOT have power to STOP him, and Order him to do what you want. The way president is doing is to Think, to Evaluate, and to Adjust his Cabinet on how to make his men and women doing effectively for serving our Americans. He needs to make the Fund for his cabinet reasonable because he wants to SAVE our suffering from the last 4 years. The DESTRUCTION that you and your Democratic Socialist of America party members in Congress and Joe Biden CREATED. He needs to DRAIN the SWAMP for our people. He wants to check to make sure his people working well, and serving our country effectively. He Stops wasting money for something unnecessary. He is NOT do for his family members. That is constitutional. STOP IT. Your power is in the Congress. Do NOT invade the Executive branch.

Congressional Committee Investigates Sanctuary Jurisdictions
The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has announced an investigation into sanctuary jurisdictions across the United States, including Boston. According to the letter addressed to Mayor Michelle Wu, the Committee is examining the impact of sanctuary policies on public safety and federal immigration enforcement.

The letter highlights concerns that sanctuary jurisdictions, such as Boston, hinder the ability of federal law enforcement to effectively enforce immigration laws and remove dangerous criminals. It also criticizes these policies for making communities less safe by refusing to fully cooperate with federal authorities.

The Committee has requested documents and information related to Boston’s sanctuary policies and has invited Mayor Wu to testify at a public hearing on February 11, 2025, in Washington, D.C.

The discussion touches on the broader issue of sanctuary cities, which limit cooperation with federal immigration enforcement. According to the letter, Chicago, New York City, Denver, and Boston stand out for their significant non-compliance with federal policies.

This investigation raises critical questions about the balance between local autonomy, federal law, and public safety. We’ll be following developments closely as the hearing approaches.

4 Trump rivals that Biden didn't pardon

President Donald Trump fired Colleen Joy Shogan, the head of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). This is the same agency that targeted Trump over so-called “classified documents” lawfully stored at Mar-a-Lago.

A coalition of Republican attorneys general are seeking to bypass President Joe Biden’s last-minute preemptive pardon of Dr. Anthony Fauci to investigate him on a state level for his role in the COVID-19 pandemic response.

The attorneys general, led by South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, sent a letter to House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) on Wednesday asking to be kept in the loop about “any further findings or direct evidence that suggests there may have been any violation of state laws” so that “we may evaluate state-level courses of action.”

President Trump fired the head of the FBI Washington Field Office, according to NBC News reporter Ken Dilanian.
David Sundberg is the highest ranking FBI official to be fired in Trump’s second term. Trump fired FBI Director James Comey during his first term.

The Trump Administration is not playing around with those who choose to defy the 47th President, and one government bureaucrat learned the hard way earlier this week.

As Jim Hoft previously reported, Trump fired 17 Inspectors General in a Friday night purge to punctuate the end of his first week in office.
Trump made an exception, though, for current Department of Homeland Security Inspector General Joseph V. Cuffari Jr., who is conducting multiple investigations into the Secret Service failures that led to two assassination attempts on his life.

The White House stated that they removed these partisan hacks to make room for people who will actually “uphold the rule of law and protect Democracy.”
